This is one the rarest days where I had 3.5 hours of sleep. I came home at 1 a.m. and retired to bed but to only crawl out to the kitchen to finish my dessert mum kept it for me. What happened? I will tell you why.

My friends and I ended our gathering at 9 p.m. at Damansara area and were going home. To our horror, the road was jam. We knew this was all because of the evil and yet innocent petrol. Everyone was jamming at the kiosk and affecting everyone else. We crawled our way. It took us 3 hours just to reach the Kelana Jaya Lrt station (which only takes 10 minutes to reach without jam). We decided to take a break at a mamak stall to have late supper. We hang out there until 12-ish.

So?

The incredible increase in fuel prices is horrible and terrible. Did we not just not feel the pinch recently from the oil price? And again? Why is the pinch now redder? And frankly why is our standard of living not safeguarded? Everything is heading to the hilltop except for our wages/ salary. Can you imagine someone earning RM 4 per hour to survive in our hostile and volatile environment? A friend of mine called me all the way from Penang just to borrow my ears about the petrol price.

Petronas declared a whopping RM 70 billion of profits from petrol. So what happened to that shiny billion ... billion bling bling? Oh well... we all know what happened, right? Ok let's just rest this matter as it is ok? I do not want to feed my readers with the same old opinions I have with other people and blogger out there. Let's just move on to the happy thoughts bore by this crazy decision of this hiking price. Of course... created by me and my colleagues but majorly me.

I suggested we should try living in the jungle to avoid all of the "evil" money activities and live on barter system should we have neighbours ... I mean human neighbours. As for entertainment, we could watch monkeys scratching each other's back. Trust me you would achieve ASTRO freedom by being one with the environment. And my colleagues chipped in that I might meet neighbours in the shape of possible pendatang haram (illegal immigrants) and eventually might be a little too crowded. But oh well ... the more the better... more cheerier. And I added I would need to mark my territory in the jungle to shoo off some snakes. But you know what my workmate replied? She would get bulldozers and chop down the trees, erasing my territory. NO!!!!

And guess you guys also knew that electricity price has also gone up... My suggestion? Simple. A kid would even able to reply that. Use candles in the house and the benefits? Everyday would be a romantic day regardless of who you are with and where you are. And even so... you don't have to envy couples in some 'dark' environment like in restaurants. You now could do the same at little or no cost. But I'm not responsible for any accidents caused by my idea, if not, get insured before trying out.

My colleagues and I had a good laugh before starting work. We just love this kind of day. It brightened up our day amid the gloominess of our pocket future and the obstacles ahead.

So?

Always think positive! Think of money money money!! And money will come to you!
