Small World
Saturday, March 1, 2008
I went to a high school today to take my insurance exam because it's a compulsory exam by my investment employer. I was the entrance to the school hall and there was a girl blocking my way because she was sitting right in the middle of the staircase. She was busy reading the insurance booklet. She looked familiar. I immediately recognize her as my senior back in high school whom I have not seen since 2001! I said hi to her and she couldn't recognize me at all. I'm not surprise because we were not close at all. We just engaged in a talk or two. That's all.

But this world is just so small. Both of us studied in Penang and yet we bumped into each other in Kuala Lumpur. I even bumped my high school friend in Wellington, in the same bus across the road! Small world isn't it?

haha!
Yes, sometimes it scares me how small it is. BTW: why did you >.< in your comment to my 'entry'? 0.o

I'd probably freak out a little if I ran into someone in a different state than I originally met them in. depending on who it was, after the freak out, I'd most likely be happy

'Tis a small world indeed
Sometimes that can be a good thing, but sometimes it can be really awkward like LS mentioned. Fortunately for you, your senior is someone you would have been glad to meet somewhere....but it could've just as easily been one of those jerks who blew you off on MSN Messenger. That would've been awkward.

Agree..
Yea it is a small world. It's amazing where we go and can still find a familiar face. It is a good feeling to catch up with someone about the old days hey?

Awkward
I'm not looking forward to running into people after highschool, especially the ones i wasn't close with. Even now it's awkward running into people I don't know too well, but on the other hand, it's kinda nice to see how people turn out after so long. I guess for you it was a pretty good run-in.

Stomach problems? Mine is temporary, i hope, I hope your's is too.
