Click me Friends and Enemies | Paranoid-ism breaks loose Tuesday, October 30, 2007 3 Comments. Haha! Go Baskin la.. since it's 31% off tomorrow. I don't get to buy because I am broke.. well, sort of but yea, I don't want to be even more broke than I already am since I'm going back Taiping next week. Anyway, I don't know how to help you in that issue but if Bakerzin is non-halal, how come it's everywhere?? The only bread I know which contains pork is sandwiches, pau and er... nor sure anything else.. By the way, renaye dear, Tanjung Rambutan is not in Taiping. I think it is near Taiping but not in Taiping but certainly in the district of LMS. P/S: To those of you who don't know what Tanjung Ranmbutan signifies.. It is a famous area for asylum in Malaysia. Anyway, those girls who asked me are those in charge of the prom tickets, that's why they are bugging me to buy the tickets that's their real motive, not to ask me to join them for prom. » Nuttz on 2007-10-30 10:09:51 dramatic? I don't see why that person's question on whether Bakerzin is halal would imply that he/she is scared. Or does 'cautious' carries the same meaning as 'scared' according to your understanding of the English vocabulary? From what you said, it's pretty obvious you need a bit of enlightment. Ever heard of the word 'gelatine'? Yes, gelatine is obtained from skin, tendons and ligaments of animals and are commonly used as ingredients for sweets like soft canides, cheesecake, ice cream, etc. It can be said that 90% of desserts contain gelatine. And MOST of gelatine are obtained from pigs, as well as cows. And instead of asking for public opinion, why not just give Bakerzin a call and ask if their products are halal or not? That sounds so much more simple. Beating around the bush? I think that asking whether something is halal or not sounds pretty much clear to me. And it's so much more polite than your "suggested" question. On the contrary, it is subtleness that I find lacking in you. Anyway, whether or not Muslims have patrionized Bakerzin, it doesn't determine if their products are halal or not. Some Muslim's choose to be careful and some just don't bother to care. Here's my 2 cents, since your "acquaintance" is worried about their products, and it IS indeed his/her own responsibilty towards what he/she puts inside his/her mouth, politely tell her that you don't know if it is halal but he/she can contact Bakerzin himself/herself to find that out. As long as you do not hear any reasonable objections to your plans, you will assume that everyone agrees. Cheers. » Eschede (218.208.197.42) on 2007-10-31 09:22:26 LOL you both got it wrong Tanjung Rambutan is all the way in Ipoh mind you. Not in the district of LMS. But in Perak yes. » Xboyz on 2007-10-31 10:44:41
