Mother's day ...
Sunday, May 13, 2007
My sister, mum and I stumbled across this restaurant in Off Kuchai Lama in the midst of looking for a Taiwanese restaurant around there which my sis has read some time ago. Of course, we didn't find it because she doesn't even remember the restaurant's address and the contact number.

So we ended somewhere in Off Kuchai Lama. Mum and sis were buying fruits and I volunteered to braised the rain in search for food. And I found this weird and strange looking Chinese restaurant. I said weird and strange because I don't like the sight of Geoduck or some kind of weird seafood creatures lurking in the aquarium. I'm like anti-weird-looking-seafood-creatures. That's because I believe we should be happy and contend to have food to eat. So why explore some exotic food???

The owner spoke to me in English in some kind of Hawaiian top. But too bad the weather at that was pouring cats and dogs. I bet no luau for him.

Mum and sister and I were damn tired hunting for food so we just ended up eating there. We had our dinner at 4.35 pm. Early aye?

The food is good. Really Chinese and Hakka food. Haven't had this kind of food for ages. And the price is very splendid as well.

What we ordered?

Clamps = RM 26
Double-boiled Fish Soup = RM 142.50
Bitter gourd with salted vegetable = RM 12

And in toto, our bill was RM 203.13. That was the most expensive meal I have ever had. But who cares? It's Mother's day.
